Sleep tips for your baby 0-3 months
Published March 17, 2023 · Updated July 17, 2026
The short answer
The early weeks are about gentle rhythms, not rules. In the first three months, catnapping, day-night confusion and needing lots of help to sleep are all completely normal. Focus on age-appropriate awake times, a light room for naps and dark overnight until six weeks, then dark day and night, and recreate the womb with white noise, warmth, swaddling and motion.

This is the general answer.
Your little one deserves a specific one.
Sleep Play Love builds the plan around your baby's exact age, their habits, and how you're holding up — then adjusts it every morning. And it answers at 2am, in my words, in seconds.
